*About Sohaegeum:
Sohaegeum is a Korean string instrument which is essentially a modernized form of the Haegeum.
“Hae” a nomad race from Gojoseon (an ancient Korea) used to play Haegeum.
Sohaegeum had same root as the Chinese Erhu and originally played with a horse hair bow placed in between the two strings, however during 1960s, its strings were increased from two to four, and now played with bow placing on the strings.
